The museum is dedicated to telling the story of 20th-century American history through the lives of John and Annie Glenn, and to creating educational programs for learners of all ages. Muskingum College is one of the major partners in the museum. The historic site features John Glenn's boyhood home and focuses on the Great Depression, World War II, the Korean Conflict, the Cold War, and the Space Race.
