To augment traditional borrowing of materials not in its collections, the Library provides access to various online databases, now numbered at 48. These include Westlaw, LexisNexis Academic, Worldcat, Academic Search Premier, and Science Direct College Edition. Most dubscription databases are available both on-campus and remotely. The library also participates in the Maryland Digital library and is a member of the Maryland Inter-Library Consortium: the latter membership features shared collections with 4 area academic libraries, and a dedicated courier delivery system with 24 hour turnaround delivery time. Information about all holdings is available on the Endeavor Voyager integrated library system. Other services include reference chat (through a cooperative service called AskUsNow, providing 24/7 connectivity with reference librarians around the state and beyond), and our homegrown Ask Miss Julie Instant Messenger chat, and online information literacy tutorials.
